1. Historical 
I like Lahore because there is many roots of history and cultures in this city. Lahore is a historical city. It has a rich history which dating back over thousand years. 11th century to 20th century A lot of Emperors from different backgrounds ruled here and left there culture and traditions on city.

Biran Gali to Nathia Gali Tour.

This is one of the most finest and beautiful trek in the whole GALIYAT region. Trek passes through thick pine forest over lush green bed of grass. Charming and sweet voices of beautiful birds , roaring streams and few patches of snow will make the whole scene mesmerizing and unforgettable.

We started our trek from a small village name “BIRAN GALI” and end up in “NATHIAGALI” after crossing a 2890 M ( 9879 Feet ) high peak Miranjani.

The plane was. 

Friday: Leave Lahore in evening.
Saturday : Reach Thandiani. Jeep drive till Biran Gali. Start Trekking and camp at Dagri ( 15-16 KM Trek or 7-8 Hours )

Sunday : Start trekking and reach Nathiagali after crossing Mirajani Peak Top ( 12-13 KM or 4-5 Hours ). Back to Lahore till late night. 

Hiking Tour to Mussa ka Mussala.

Musa ka Musalla peak stands at an altitude of 4050 meters at the junction of Siran and Kaghan valleys.it is the very beautiful valley in another words a heaven on earth.

The name translates to Moses’ Mat which has different stories associated with it. While some believe it to be named after a local shepherd with the name of Musa who used to pray at the peak here, On a clear day, the summit offers exciting panoramic views of the entire area and surroundings.Its a very beautiful hiking spot and life time experience. This hiking tour is an extravaganza of nature painted with crystal clear streams, flowering meadows, cascading glaciers and dense forest.

Naran, kaghan, Shogran is very famous touristic point in Pakistan even someone encountered in a problem of unavailability of hotels for staying in peak season. Actually Naran is a town of Kaghan Valley, Mansehra  NWFP Province Pakistan. Mostly people stay here for going to famous spots like Lake Saif-ul-Malook and Lalazar, Lalusar Lake, and Babusar Top. Naran Valley is very beautiful. Kunhar river flows along the whole valley which offers most amazing sceneries.I have been wishing for a long time to visit Naran Kaghan even I have visited many remote areas of very beautiful NWFP province. Last week I decided to visit Shogran, Naran Kaghan. I could skip SHOGRAN as it is in the way of Naran But it also a very beautiful place I don’t want to missed it. However I started my journey on Saturday 30 june 2012 for Shogran, Naran Kaghan.  

The plane was

30 june 2012     start journey in night and reach Shogran till 10 am.

1  July 2012       Explore Shogran, Sri and Paye and then move to Naran for night stay

2  July 2012       Full day for Lake Saiful Malook 

3  July 2012       Visit Babusar Top and Lulusar Lake

4  July 2012       back to home.

Ganda singh Border flag lowering ceremony

Flag lowering ceremony in Ganda singh border is very interesting and popular activity among locals and tourists.

I often go to Ganda singh border for seeing the flag lowering ceremony. it is interested. it provide me a chance to see different ceremony and close view to see life of army officers.

Ganda singh is small village near Kasur city which is very near to famous Lahore city. it easily accessible by road from lahore. A lot buses go for kasur city and then Rickshaws for Ganda singh border.

Is it safe to travel in Pakistan.

Is it safe to travel in Pakistan? Now it is very common question among travelers from different regions who are interested to visit Pakistan.

The answer is very simple yes and no. Its depend on many factors. for example 

• Where are you going? Big cities? villages? remote areas/ tribal areas in Pakistan?

• What are you doing?

• Do you have an eye on news? Big travel websites like lonely planet, wiki travel always give alert if any security issue in any country.

• Do you respect local culture and traditions?

• Do you respect other religions?

No place in whole world is safe. if you are an avid traveler you knows about that. it is very useless to see news on international media before traveling to Pakistan anywhere because news and newspaper always shows the different pictures due to many political reasons and benefits. if you want to get latest information and security issues than Travel forums of websites and couch surfing forums are really great for this purpose. 

Or you can also contact person who recently visit Pakistan. everyday a lot of person travel Pakistan who explore its beauty, unique history and architect. They spread positive words on different websites like Lonely planet, virtual tourists and CS.

No doubt Baluchistan (Province of Pakistan), FATA, tribal areas/remote areas and some parts of NWFP are dangerous places for foreigners even for a Pakistani nationals. so avoid them to visit. i write about all places province vise which are famous among locals and foreigners. all can visit without any fear. click on link to see about these places places to see in Pakistan

Try to take help of locals. Pakistani people are hospitable they feel pleasure to help foreigners. and take tips to travel. 

Don't involve in any religious gathering or talking.

Pakistanis are very strictly follow religion particularly middle class families. wears cloths which covers your whole body. women should wear a dupatta (A long cloth for Cover head), which is a scarf used by local females to cover their head.

Pakistani women don't like hugging or hand shake with men. so don't try to hug them and take pictures of women in bazaar or anywhere it is considered very bad. 

in other words you should know something about local culture.

At the end which is very important

minimize your fear. just get some information about any place or about security issues then head to destination. i found in this world about 95% people are good. fight with your innerself and don't afraid we will die when our time of life end. no one can harm us in this world without the permission of God.

Culture and Traditions of Pakistan

Pakistan is vey rich and vast in culture and traditions. Culture, customs and traditions of Pakistan comprises a lot of cultures and groups. Being a historical country which dates back to thousand of years Pakistan has adopted many cultures and traditions from time to time.

even many tribe can be seen in tribal areas where life is same like hundred year before. But in cities people are going with modern age and technology.

Pakistan has 4 major provinces Punjab, Sindh, North west frontier Province and Balochistan. Culture, traditions, and way of life is greatly differ in all regions and provinces. Eating habits, marriage customs, way of life, following stricly Islam Religion, social priorities and many things differ in each province and region there are many shades of life.

If I honestly tell. The culture and traditions of Pakistan and india always surprises me. I have never been to india but I know a lot about India through media, news and websites and I know that it is same like my country as we have been living together for many years and we have many same culture and tradition .

Every year large number of people gather in Kausor city which is very near Lahore Pakistan  from all over the country for celebrating Urs(Festival) of Hazrat Bulleh Shah. Urs celebration of Hazrat Bulleh shah is worth to see. It shows culture and traditions of Pakistan even many people who live in cities of Pakistan are unfamiliar with this unique culture and taste of celebration and this type of festivals shows that what our forefathers were and salute to those

 who keep alive this type of festivals.

Dudipatsar Lake is very stunning, eye catching and beautiful which is among the most beautiful lakes of Naran, Kahgan Valley Pakistan. it is situated in the north of the Kaghan Valley in District Mansehra. Mansehra is city of Khyber Pakhtun Khawa Province Pakistan. Dudipatsar lake offers amazing and unbelievable views which cannot be forgotten. The lake water is greenish and extremely cold. The lake is at an elavation of 12500 feet.

i think It was june of 2007 when I met a friend who recently came back from Murree (A beautiful hill station) near Islamabad. He had plan to spent two days. He Told me that I was in Murree for two days I heard a lot about but I don't think its very beautiful, whats there everywhere greenery and mountains but nothing to see.
