Something About my beautiful and full of life Lahore city

Away from Lahore, I used to wonder if all the rhetoric about the magic city has any substance to it. Land of superlatives, Lahore is Pakistan’s second biggest and one of the most prosperous cosmopolitan cities, home to universities and colleges, spiritual centers and historic, cultural, commercial and political centre. It has been a land of plenty since centuries. “Lahore is one of the greatest cities of the East,” wrote William Finch, a traveller from the west, in his journal back in 1610.” I found new answers every day.
The city is known for its beautiful gardens, exquisite fountains, delicious cuisines, and rich heritage of architecture, art and music. Mughal rulers introduced the concept of green places, gardens and baradraries in the city. In 1849, there were 164 gardens in and around Lahore and most were in tact till partition in 1947. Traveler John Foster Fraser wrote in 1899, in his book Round the World on a Wheel, “Lahore is a sort of glorified Gardens.” The axiom seems true in spring when all roads are lavishly lined with flowers beds, flower baskets hanging with poles and bougainvillea blooming from the outer walls of private houses.
Someone once put it that the streets of (old) Lahore are not only paved with bricks, but with history. The old and compact part of the city – neighborhood where much links of the city with the past are in tact – is not at all easy to navigate. But by wandering aimlessly not only you will get less heated up but you will see more too, and it will eventually get you where you started. Enter through any of the thirteen surviving gateways around once walled city and you can make it around without so much as glancing at a map. What you need to do is make a conscious decision to see Lahore, as it is required to be seen: on a long leisurely stroll into the life of the city. A diplomat once said, “Lahore should be seen on your own. No protocols, no guides and no time limits.” Another thing you will need is a starting point

Hiking tour Nathiagali to Miranjani Top.

Nathiagali, an heaven on earth is known for its scenic beauty,  It is situated only 35 Km drive away from both Murree and Abbottabad.
A Picturesque Town of Pakistan Nathiagali is the most picturesque hill station in the Pakistan.
From Nathiagali to Miranjani(2960 meters high) is a track of near about 10km ascend and 10km for back. its a one day track which is very beautiful. its a jungle track.

The real enthusiasts can walk up a track starting from the Governor’s House to the top of Miranjani Hill (2960 meters high), a beautiful trek that takes 6 to 7 hours both ways.
Nathiagali is home to all major wildlife; various species of birds, animals. Monkeys often come up to hotels, restaurants and guesthouses  in search of food and they are very common in Nathiagali.

The most amazing thing is that during the track in summer and winter i did not see any monkey but in nathiagali bazaar in search of food.

Half day and Kasur city.

It was planned short trip to Kasur. its long time i did not go to Kasur so i decided on Friday next day is Saturday and i will be able for short trip to Kasur.

This time me and my bike. no any travel campanion. i was a solo traveler again. Actually solo traveling is very strange thing in Pakistan because in my opinion there are no many people who love to exploring, tours and traveling and mostly go on different places just for fun with friends.

There is no concept of solo traveling. People loves their routine hells and do not like to leave their comforts. But i always love to explore other places and cultures.

A shop in Kasur (Salling Kasori Andarase)

Purpose of this short trip was to
  1. Going at the tomb of Bulleh shah.
  2. Visit the Kamal chishti tomb.
  3. Visit the old city buildings, Bazaars.
  4. Attending the flage lowering ceremony at Ganda singh border.

Essential luggage for Tours

Which material should we use for tours? it is very important question before packing material for tours. we cannot ignore the importance of essential luggage during tours and traveling however it is totally depend on type of tour, Hiking tours, weather conditions where you want to go and the places e,g Mountains or modern cities, deserts.

Without proper luggage on tours you are just like a soldier who come in battle without gun. as i written in my blog what is backpacking i highly recommend don't go on tours with out proper luggage it can cause dangerous i give you a little example if you choose wrong shoes on hiking tour. The protection of your feet needs to be given top priority when hiking. Foot pain or discomfort can quickly take the fun out of hiking, and an injury could prevent you

from walking at all. you can slip and fall on steep rock without proper shoes while hiking that cause dangerous.

The name translates to Moses’ Mat which has different stories associated with it. While some believe it to be named after a local shepherd with the name of Musa who used to pray at the peak here, On a clear day, the summit offers exciting panoramic views of the entire area and surroundings. Its a very beautiful hiking spot and life time experience. This hiking tour is an extravaganza of nature painted with crystal clear streams, flowering meadows, cascading glaciers and dense forest.
